Are you interested in the stress reducing benefits of mindfulness but don’t want to meditate? Mindfulness does not mean meditation. Although meditation can be a great quiet vehicle to practice mindfulness, you can also cultivate a mindful awareness by paying attention to your environment, your body, your emotions, or your breath in everyday life. Next time you are sitting by yourself, pay close attention to your breath.
Where is it moving your body (chest, belly, etc.)?
Is it fast or slow? Do this frequently and you will
develop greater mindfulness.
